Hello, My name is Jason Makejew, I'm 22 years old and I live in Northeast Philadelphia. I always knew about BCAS, so I checked today, and to find out there is a new forum! I never attended a meeting, but have a ton of interest in doing so! I'm currently at school at Peirce College, and will be finishing up my BS in computer networking in 2 weeks! So it won't be until afterwards that I will be able to attend any meetings. I currently only have a 10 gallon set up right now, because I am currently remodeling my room, but will have a 30 gallon tank set up for some SA/CA Cichlids. After that I plan on turning the 10 gallon into a planted tank. So any advice will be Great ;D If anyone has any plants to hook me up will be great too ;D

Welcome Jason, You'll find the members of the BCAS are invaluable. The experience, temprement, friendliness, (if not spelling ability) is second to none. They have helped me grow from my first ten gallon to a fish room of South/Central American Tropicals and African Cichlids. Got to go one of my Laps. is spitting more fry...............

Hello from Bensalem everyone! My name is Sharon and my family and I just set up our very first tropical tank 2 weeks ago!! It is 37 gallons & is home to some Silver dollars, barbs, tetras & 2 snails which I named Ug & Fug🐚!! We are so happy with our new hobby & just successfully completed our first water change!! Our go to place for all things fish we are now obsessed with is the Hidden Reef in Levittown!!! They have the coolest stuff, healthy & beautiful live stock as well as a very knowledgeable and willing to help staff! We will be attending our first BCAS meeting in November & cannot wait to become full blown enthusiast!! We plan on getting a much bigger tank as a family gift for the holidays so we will have many questions along the way I'm sure!! Tony, Jimmy & myself will be at the meeting & we are really looking forward to meeting "fellow Fish Freaks!!" 🐠🐟🌾💛
